Due to the size limitations of FedEx, some taller items require minor assembly after delivery. This is a very easy process, and instructions will be included. The parts that need to be attached will be tagged with a bright colored tie so that you can find easily.

Head:
Palm tree heads: Many palm trees 7 feet or taller are designed to be securely assembled in two parts. The stem will be securely potted in the base, and the entire head (or heads if multiple stems) will need to be placed into the stem. The leaves will usually be attached and arranged prior to shipping.

Leaf:
Adding top leaves or stems: To minimize shipping charges and prevent damage, some plants are shipped with a few leaves to be attached by the customer. These will be top leaves, and usually require slipping the metal wire end into a receiver on the plant stem.

Stem:
Similar to the leaf assembly, some plants such as bamboo have the top part of an entire stem that is detached. Usually the top stem piece has a female end, and is placed over a male pole to give the stem more height. Leaves are attached and arranged prior to shipping.
